The modern high-resolution 2D seismic survey is designed to tie all offshore wells (including DSDP) and image the geological basins. The data aims to provide a better understanding of petroleum systems associated with Atlantic Morocco (Jurassic, Cretaceous and Tertiary) as well as providing clear imagery of the deep crustal structures. The data also provides an opportunity to understand the regional geology which would allow source, migration and reservoir distribution to be modelled.

The 2D well-tie seismic and gravity-magnetic survey was acquired in 2018 in partnership with BGP. PSTM and PSDM deliverables are available.

Seismic interpretation atlas is available
The Morocco Atlantic Margin Atlas has been designed to provide a high-standard reassessment of the country’s offshore regional exploration potential. Seismic interpretation of this regional dataset uncovers yet-unseen clues to the internal structural fabric of the oceanic crust and has led to further understanding of a potential deep-water petroleum system. Products can be licensed as part of the integrated well-tie seismic and gravity-magnetic data package.
